About Me
Hi! I’m glad you stopped by my website! A little about me. I’m a court stenographer in Wyoming. For many years I have wanted to write a book. I had an idea for a story, just never the time to tell it. When I became an empty nester, even though I still worked, it felt like it was time to put pen to paper, as they say. Four years later, Silent Gavel became a reality. I was thrilled to have written my first novel.
I enjoyed the writing process so much that I went on and recently finished my second novel, Shadows of Doubt.
Nowadays, when I’m not working in the courtroom taking down every word spoken, you can find me working on my next story. I also do a little gardening. It is a very challenging hobby to do in Cheyenne, with our short growing season, constant wind and frequent hailstorms. That’s why I get so excited when I can top off a salad with my very own cherry tomatoes straight off the vine.
I love to read. My favorite genres are mystery, suspense, and thrillers.
Home wouldn’t feel like home without my four-legged companions. There is Roz, a true mixed breed, though she does have the markings of a Cattle Dog and the stance of a Pit Bull. Then there is Maya, a Rottweiler-German Shepherd combo. And last, but certainly not least, Zelda, the cat. Life is just better with furry friends, I believe!
